Signing MoU to Integrate Digital Signatures with e-DP System of DGDP
The Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) and the Directorate General Defence Purchase (DGDP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 16 May 2023 at DGDP Premises to integrate Digital Signature with the e-DP System of the DGDP. This collaboration aims to enhance the efficiency and security of defence procurement processes.
The integration of digital signatures
will bolster the integrity and authenticity of electronic documents within the
DGDP’s procurement system. Digital signatures utilize cryptographic techniques
to verify document integrity, providing protection against unauthorized access
and tampering.
The BCC will provide technical support
and expertise to ensure a smooth implementation of digital signatures within
the e-DP system. This collaboration marks a significant step towards a more
secure and streamlined procurement process for the DGDP.
